Not only will the temperature be cold, but wind sweeping down the plain will play a big part in making it feel even colder outside. In fact, the National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a wind chill advisory from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m. both Wednesday and Thursday.

Counties included in the advisory include: Craig, Creek, Mayes, Muskogee, Okmulgee Osage, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington.

The NWS says wind chills are expected to be as low as five degrees below zero, Wednesday morning, and even colder Thursday morning at 15 degrees below zero.

According to the NWS frost bite and hypothermia are possible and taking precaution is advised.
