Oologah Man Dies After Being Pulled From Burning Mobile Home

The fire started before 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of East 420 Road. When emergency crews arrived, neighbors already had pulled a man and a woman out of the burning home.

A man has died after a mobile home fire in Oologah on Tuesday night, firefighters confirm.

Northwest Rogers County Fire Protection District Chief Dave Puckett said the fire started before 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of East 420 Road. When emergency crews arrived, neighbors already had pulled a man and a woman out of the burning home.

On Wednesday, the state fire marshal's office said the man died and the woman was being treated for burns.

Their identities will be released after firefighters notify their next of kin.
