TU's 2015 schedule has been completed. The American Conference will now be split into two divisions this upcoming season, so therefore; the Golden Hurricane will welcome UCF, Houston, Memphis, and (conference newcomer) Navy to Skelly Field at H. A. Chapman Stadium.
Dates for the games have not yet been set, but it is known that TU will hit the road to Cincinnati, East Carolina, SMU, and Tulane.
The Golden Hurricane will host Florida Atlantic, in non-conference play. The two teams will play the second leg of a two-game home-and-home series that started last season in Florida.
"We're excited to get on the field. We're excited to win football games, but we'll do this thing one week at a time. Our goal is to win every game that we step on the field. Every time we step on the field, we're going to compete to win every day,” said TU's new head coach Philip Montgomery. “From a league standpoint, it will be exciting for us and our fans to play a home schedule that includes four teams that are bowl participants this season. The road schedule with Oklahoma in non-conference action and two of the top teams in the American Athletic Conference from this past season, Cincinnati and East Carolina, will be a tall task.”
