Tulsa Police Seek Man Never Arrested After Bridge Stunt

The man who threatened to jump onto a major highway in Tulsa, shutting it down for hours this past summer, is now on the list of Tulsa's most wanted.

Police never arrested Daryl Kaiser after he received treatment following the eight-hour standoff on a utility bridge at I-244 and Lewis.

“That really disrupted many people's lives in here in Tulsa,” said Officer Jillian Roberson.

Kaiser finally surrendered and was taken to a mental healthcare facility.

Six months later, police are trying to find the fugitive. He's wanted for aggravated assault and battery and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.

After Kaiser came down from the bridge he was evaluated by EMSA and taken to a mental healthcare facility.

From there police don't know what happened.

"I can tell you that these warrants were issued in June, so he has been wanted since then. So we're just asking if anybody has seen him, please let us know, this is an individual we do want to get off the streets," Roberson said.

One of Kaiser's friends, Jennifer Kiesewetter said she has no idea how he got out of the mental care facility.

She said she hasn't spoken with him in a few weeks, but claims he's in a wheelchair after injuring his back in a motorcycle accident.

Police said Kaiser is a dangerous man and needs to be taken off the streets.

"We don't know when he may, or will, do this again, so we definitely want to get this individual off the streets," said Roberson.

Police said Kaiser is also an unregistered sex offender.
