Thanksgiving came a little early for hundreds of Tulsans today.

Street School served up a traditional Thanksgiving meal to more than 300 students, parents, and alumni. Servers included Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett, TPS Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard, and recently elected state superintendent Joy Hofmeister.

"It's wonderful to come home to Tulsa, to Street School again, and celebrate Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for," Hofmeister said.

Street School is an alternative school for students who have a hard time in the more traditional high school setting.
