Residents Evacuated After Fire Damages Midtown Tulsa Apartments

The Tulsa Fire Department says two apartments were damaged and three others sustained water damage after a fire broke out early Wednesday. 

Firefighters got the call to the Leisure Manor Apartments in the 6900 block of East 15th Street at about 5 a.m. 

Tulsa Fire Captain Stan May says 12 people living at a building in the complex were evacuated. He says the Red Cross was called to assist the affected residents and keep them out of the cold weather.
