Man On The Run Since March In Custody For Tulsa Murder

Murder suspect Scott Platz is back in jail in Tulsa after investigators tracked him down in Arizona.

Investigators believe Platz beat his roommate to death in March then robbed a bank in Missouri.

He had been on the run ever since.

Police issued a warrant for Platz in July for the murder of 22-year-old Mason Orr.

Officials said Orr was found bludgeoned to death inside his apartment at 4203 South Rockford on March 9th. They said Platz lived with Orr at the time.

Jail records show Platz is being held without bond on complaints of first degree murder.
