A hotel search website has named Oklahoma's second-largest city a Top 10 Best Value City for 2015.
Trivago, which analyzed cities across the country, released its 50 Best Value destinations in the nation for the coming year and Tulsa came in at number 7.
First on the list was Macon, Georgia, followed by Branson, Missouri. Wichita, Kansas was 5th, Springfield, Missouri was 8th and Oklahoma City was 21st on Trivago's list.
Trivago's Best Value U.S. Cities for 2015
According to Trivago, the Best Value Index provides a unique overview of the best valued destinations by using a specifically tailored algorithm that combines the Trivago Hotel Price Index with Trivago's Reputation Ranking for hotels. The trivago Hotel Price Index shows the average overnight accommodation prices for a standard double room on trivago. The Best Value Index ranks cities with 50 or more hotels, based on a combination of consumer ratings and average hotel prices from 1-50 with 1 being the highest ranked.
