Garth Brooks, who will perform in Tulsa in January, broke the Arkansas State Record for ticket sales on Friday. Brooks sold 44,176 tickets for his three North Little Rock Shows and is still selling tickets for his three Little Rocks shows planned for next month.
The Oklahoma native eclipsed the record set by the George Strait Festival in Little Rock in 2001 which drew 40,111, according to the Verizon Arena website.
Tickets for Brooks' performance in Tulsa will go on sale Friday, November 14th, and News On 6 wants to remind viewers that there are several scams victimizing fans by trying to sell tickets before that time.
