OHP: Sleepy Driver Wrecks Pickup Truck On Turner Turnpike

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver of a Chevy pickup fell asleep and crashed overnight.

Troopers said his truck hit a guard rail on the Turner Turnpike in Sapulpa at about 2:30 a.m. Monday.

The impact with the guard rail knocked the pickup's right rear wheel off and it rolled into the the path of a Ford Mustang headed the same direction. 

The wheel damaged the Mustang's front right fender.

The OHP says neither driver was injured.
