An overturned cattle truck blocked traffic on eastbound Interstate 244 on the north side of downtown Wednesday night.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said around 9:45 p.m., they responded to a minor, non-injury wreck on I-244 east of the IDL.
Troopers said while they were conducting traffic control at the crash, a cattle truck was approaching the original wreck too fast, locked up his brakes, jack-knifed and hit a guardrail.
The driver of the cattle truck was not injured, troopers said.
They said they had to divert traffic north and southbound on Highway 75 on the east side of the IDL.
According to troopers, the driver said he wasn't paying attention.
No cattle were in the trailer.
Troopers said the driver was cited and released.
They said this collision is a message to driver to pay attention while driving and even suggest driving below the suggested speed limit when it's dark.
