City Of Broken Arrow Announces Road Construction Projects

The City of Broken Arrow says a contractor will work on an intersection starting at 10 p.m. Monday, October 14, weather permitting.

The intersection of 9th Street (Lynn Lane) and Hillside Drive will be open, but lanes will be shifted during construction, according to Krista Flasch, director of communications for Broken Arrow.

"Authorities ask motorists to drive with caution, as staff and equipment will be on the roadway working through the overnight hours," Flasch said in a news release.

"The milling work on the intersection is expected to be completed before rush hour traffic on Tuesday."

The City also plans to resurface the southbound lanes from Albany Street through the Hillside Drive intersection on Wednesday, October 15. No time schedule was given for that project.
