Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers made an arrest early Saturday after a man wrecked on eastbound Interstate 44 at the Lewis exit. Authorities say Brady Nguyen told them he might have fallen asleep when his car left the road and hit a road sign.

The arresting trooper said he could smell alcohol on the 44-year-old man's breath. Nguyen was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.

During a search, authorities found a Tupperware bowl containing marijuana and a smoking device, the arrest report states.

A passenger in Nguyen's vehicle was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. Nguyen was booked on misdemeanor complaints of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
