The largest single investment in road work in Tulsa history is getting underway. On Tuesday night, residents can voice their opinions about a stretch of Riverside Drive that will run through "A Gathering Place for Tulsa."

The remake of Riverside from 24th to 35th Streets will coincide with construction of the multi-million dollar park.

The public meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Tulsa Garden Center, located just south of Woodward Park. City engineers and road designers will make a presentation and take questions.

This is the first project in the "Improve Our Tulsa" package passed by voters last November. It includes $470 million in street repairs citywide.
