The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality has lifted its boil advisory for Wagoner County RWD #9. The DEQ says the water is now safe for human consumption.
The DEQ issued the advisory after multiple rounds of water samples indicated the presence of E. coli. The DEQ says state and federal regulations require that customers be notified if, at any time, public drinking water is determined to be unsafe.
