Eastern Oklahoma Food Bank Hosts Friday Fun Nights

It's an effort to encourage families to spend more time together by volunteering. The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is hosting three Friday Fun Nights over the summer.

The Friday Fun Nights allow children eight and older to volunteer at the Food Bank with a parent or guardian. Volunteers will sort and repackage donated food.

The Food Banks said with volunteer help, they are able to distribute more than 275,000 meals every week.

The first of three Friday Fun Nights began June 13th, but there is still space available for the remaining two; those will be July 11th and August 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
