Two Arrested On Drug Complaints After Tulsa Traffic Stop

A couple were taken to jail after Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies stopped their car for a defective headlight at a Tulsa condominium complex early Thursday.

A couple were taken to jail after Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies stopped their car for a defective headlight at a Tulsa condominium complex early Thursday.

Deputies said the incident occurred at the Hearthstone Village condos in the 6700 block of South Lewis at about 2:30 a.m.

They said a passenger in the car, Brittany Crawford, 25, of Owasso lied about who she was and then ran away. Deputies caught up with her a short distance away and arrested her.

The driver, Jacob Young, 23, of Tulsa was also arrested after deputies found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the car.

Both were booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possession of a controlled and dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia. Crawford was also booked on a complaint of resisting arrest.
