Woman And Teen Arrested After Owasso Police Chase

Owasso Police officers said a theft from the Walmart on 96th Street North led to a police chase and ended with two arrests early Wednesday.

Responding officers spotted an SUV driven by the suspect headed south on Highway 169 just before 4:30 a.m. After exiting onto 56th Street North, the police chase ended at 56th Street North and Mingo when the SUV got stuck in the mud.

The driver was arrested as was a 13-year-old girl in the SUV. Police said both were involved in the larceny at Walmart.

A three-year-old girl, believed to be the driver's daughter, who was also in the SUV was turned over to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
