Bahe, Jr. veered off the road and overcorrected, crashing into the concrete barrier and causing the SUV to roll over. His father was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, but on Tuesday he pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, driving under the influence and driving under suspension.
