The man responsible for a crash that killed his father pleaded guilty to manslaughter and driving under the influence.
Samuel Bahe, Sr., 60, was killed July 3rd, 2013 when his son, Samuel Bahe, Jr., crashed his SUV on Highway 51 in Broken Arrow.
Bahe, Jr. veered off the road and overcorrected, crashing into the concrete barrier and causing the SUV to roll over. His father was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, but on Tuesday he pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, driving under the influence and driving under suspension.
Court records show Bahe will receive a 13-year prison sentence with five years suspended for manslaughter. He also received one year for DUI. That sentence will run concurrently with his manslaughter sentence.
