Semi Overturns On Tulsa's IDL At Tisdale Expressway

A semi truck has overturned near the northwest corner of Tulsa's IDL.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 244 near the Tisdale Expressway exit have been re-opened after the loaded truck flipped on its side. Highway 412 as it leaves downtown is still closed.

Images from Osage SkyNews 6 show oil leaking from the semi-truck. The truck was carrying metal fencing materials on pallets that have also dumped on the roadway.

Osage SkyNews 6 Pilot, Will Kavanagh, said they were able to see the driver being treated by EMSA but didn't believe any serious injures occurred.

Officials say the truck was going too fast causing the load to shift and turn down on it's side. Neither the driver, passenger or dog inside the car were injured.

Lanes will be shut down during rush hour traffic and into the evening.
