Two men have come forward, saying Grove realtor Don Smith, accused of molesting four teenage boys, also molested them in the 1970s and 1980s.

A father of some of the teen boys spoke to News On 6 exclusively, warning parents that his family met Smith through church, and trusted him. The dad believes Smith is good at being a predator.

"I went to church with him, trusted him. We'd go to his house to eat. We'd go out on the pontoon boat with families and spent a lot of time together. Trusted him as much as I'd ever trust anyone," the dad said.

When the father of two teen boys picked up the paper a few weeks ago, and saw 77-year-old Smith charged with multiple child sex crimes, including lewd molestation, two counts of forcible sodomy and obscene or indecent writings or pictures, his heart sank.

He never knew what had happened until he sat his sons down to ask if Smith had touched them.

"With my oldest son, he had victimized him. With my youngest son, he had tried," the dad said.

His 17-year-old son told him the abuse started two years ago at Smith's farm.

It mirrors what's found in an affidavit, where a different boy said Smith molested him, starting at age 15, saying he and Smith had oral sex, "over a hundred times."

Smith's two sons, and the victim from the affidavit, say Smith threatened them with a gun, using the same line: "what happens at the farm stays at the farm."

"It was just like everything just fell out from underneath me. Didn't know what to do," the dad said.

The dad said what haunts him most, is that he made his oldest son go to the farm because he thought it would be good for him.

"We would encourage my son to go to the ranch with him because it would be fun, it would be something that, you know, working out at a ranch, getting some work experience, riding four-wheelers, doing things teenage boys like to do," the dad said.

Now, his sons don't want anything to do with church, the place where they met and grew to trust, Smith.

"How do I tell them church is a safe place now?" the dad said. "He knows what he's doing. He knows how to get the parents' trust. He knows how to coerce the boys."

Smith's attorney is not commenting on the charges. Smith is now out on bond.

We've been in touch with another parent of an alleged victim; she believes there are more victims out there than the six the sheriff says have come forward.
