The Tulsa area is likely to see some thunderstorms on Monday -- some may bring hail and high winds.
The storms are forming in western Oklahoma and may bring some hail and damaging winds as they move into Green Country.
"We'll see kind of the leftovers," WARN Team Meteorologist Mike Grogan said.
Those "leftovers" could bring us 1 to 3 inches of rain.
"The general trend will likely be for the storms to grow in coverage and somewhat in intensity into the afternoon hours," Grogan said in his weather blog. "As the front slows its progression, areas of heavy rain and storms will begin to train or build over the same spots, enhancing the potential for good rainfall and even flooding.
"That's what we need, certainly, to help us put a dent in our drought situation."
Temperatures through mid-week are expected to be about 10 degrees below normal.
