Green Country Celebrates National Children's Book Week

Saturday was a perfect morning to celebrate the importance of reading out at Guthrie Green.

News On 6 anchor Meagan Farley was there to help celebrate National Children's Book Week and the kick off of Bank of Oklahoma's annual literary campaign.

Author Betty Casey read from her book "May Finds Her Way - The Story of an Iditarod Sled Dog." The event raised money for books for Volunteers of America.

There were many activities for families at the Brady Arts District park.
