Upgrades at the BOK Center could mean a better experience with your smartphone the next time you're there.
Representatives of AT&T and Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett showed off the technology Friday. The company installed new Wi-Fi antennas all over the center.
The new technology will increase your ability to call someone, use the Internet or even - as the Mayor demonstrated - post a selfie.
"We hit the button, nothing happens. Then we haven't had quite as good of an experience as we would like to have. Now, we hit the button, and everything's going to work," Bartlett said.
The project took about four months to finish and cost more than a $1 million.
