After more than six years of waiting, a $31,000 check was presented to a business owner who was ripped off.
In 2008, that money was embezzled from Danny Neldon and Thunder Bowl Lanes in Rogers County.
An employee pleaded guilty to the crime two years later.
Just recently the Rogers County District Attorney's Office managed to recover the funds, and presented Neldon with a check Thursday.
"I didn't think I'd ever see the money again," said Danny Neldon, embezzlement victim. "Just hoping one day that she'd get caught and brought in."
Investigators say they've also returned $214,000 to Tulsa Stock Yards and $15,000 to a car dealership in Claremore after hot checks were written to them.
