Mechanical engineering students from the University of Tulsa created an interactive space ship play station for children with special needs.

The Little Light House in Tulsa is a Christian developmental center at 5120 East 36th Street for children with special needs.

The TU students created what they call the "Space Invader." It's an interactive play station designed to help the children develop hand-eye coordination and visual perceptual skills.

The "Space Invader" uses air blowers to power two catch stations with floating plastic balls and two launch stations which send those balls throughout the space ship.
