Owasso Police Find Shoe, Crashed Motorcycle On Highway 169

Owasso police responded to a call of an injury motorcycle wreck Saturday morning, but when they arrived they found only a motorcycle and a tennis shoe. Police say they were called to Highway 169 near 96th Street North at about 3:45 a.m.

A motorcyclist had crashed, and the motorcycle was on its side in the center median. The driver was not at the scene but left a sneaker.

A witness told police a truck and another motorcycle stopped at the scene right after the crash and picked up the driver before police arrived.

Owasso police said later Saturday morning that the motorcycle had been impounded, and they had not heard from the crash victim.
