Skiatook Trash Worker Dies After Truck Overturned

A Skiatook trash worker has died after a crash that shut down Highway 75 Monday.

Police tell us Samuel Bench died Tuesday. He and two others were in a trash truck when it rolled on Highway 75.

The truck was southbound near Apache Street in Tulsa when it overturned. The cargo part of the truck detached and landed in the center median and the cab came to rest in the northbound lanes.

The wreck shut down the highway for more than five hours.
