Police arrested one of two men they say used a pick axe to break into a jewelry store Monday night.

Officers went to the Moody's Jewelry in the 1100 block of South Harvard at 10:30 p.m. to investigate a burglary alarm. They saw two men running away.

An officer chased one of them down. Police identify him as Christopher Moody, 29. The second man got away.

Tulsa Police said Moody is no relation to the store owner. They booked him into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of second-degree burglary, resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer.

Jail records show Moody was being held in lieu of an $11,000 bond with a court appearance set for April 15, 2014.

A check with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections showed Christopher Moody has served time in prison for convictions out of Tulsa County for assault with a deadly weapon, first-degree burglary and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. He was released in 2009.

Tulsa Police ask you to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS if you know who the second man is.
