Deputies are warning about a man pretending to be from the Sheriff's Office. They say he calls people and tells them they've missed jury duty.

He tells them a warrant is going to be issued for their arrest unless they buy a prepaid credit card from Walgreens for almost a $1,000 and give him the authorization number.

He goes by Major Paul Stevens and even gives people a badge number.

Tulsa County deputies say he sounds very professional and is very convincing, but it's a scam. If you get a call like this, make sure to report it to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
