Three Arrested In Connection To Adair County Woman's Beating

Three people are now in custody in connection to the beating of a Westville woman.

Three people are now in custody in connection to the beating of a Westville woman. Brothers David and Scott Tush and Gladys Harrington are being held in Adair County, according to Sheriff David Hardin.

The assault reportedly took place Saturday, March 29, 2014. The OSBI reports that a 35-year-old woman told Westville police that a man drove her to an unknown location and beat her, then drove her home.

She walked to a neighbor's home and called 911, a news release states. She was flown to an Arkansas hospital and has since been released.

Sheriff Hardin said U.S. Marshals located David Tush, 37, who is suspected in the beating. His brother, Scotty Tush, 47, was arrested for aiding and abetting. Gladys Harrington was arrested for harboring a fugitive.

They were arrested Saturday in Harrington's duplex about four miles north of Westville on Highway 59.

Officers with the Eastern District of Oklahoma Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, Adair County Sheriff's Office, District 27 Drug Task Force, Westville Police Department and Watts Police Department were involved in the arrest.
