On Tuesday, officials say officers received a tip that the couple was in a red pickup headed toward the Park Place Apartments on the northwest side of McAlester.

Krebs police officer, Eli Hass, responded to the call. They say Hass saw the tow knocking on an apartment door and arrested them without problem, taking them to Pittsburg County Jail.

The two are being held on a $500,000 bond.

The 69-year-old victim is still in the hospital recovering.
