OHP Trooper Injured In Crash On I-44 In Tulsa

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper was taken to the hospital after his car ran off I-44 in Tulsa and hit an embankment Friday morning.

The OHP says the crash happened near the 41st Street exit at about 7:15 a.m. 

EMSA took the trooper to a Tulsa hospital with what authorities say were minor injuries. 

No word yet on what caused the crash.

The crash slowed eastbound traffic on I-44 at 41st Street.
