Former Oklahoma Senator Randy Brogdon has officially thrown his hat into the ring, hoping to fill Tom Coburn's U.S. Senate seat.
Brogdon announced Monday he's running.
"Our country is in a full-fledged spending crisis, and both Democrats and Republicans are to blame," Brogdon said.
He adds, "I'm not going to Washington to manage the mess, I'm going up there to help dismantle it."
The Republican Primary is June 24th. Also on the ballot is former Oklahoma House Speaker T.W. Shannon, Fifth District Congressman James Lankford and Norman paramedic Jason Weger.
