Overcharged Couple Gets Money Back From Tulsa Cab Company

A couple that was price-gouged on a cab right in Tulsa has received some of their money back.

It happened last Thanksgiving. Terri Hampton and her husband, both from Texas, had to call a cab after their car broke down, stranding them in freezing weather.

After waiting for hours, the Yellow Cab arrived, drove them to their location and charged them $210 on what would normally be a $75 ride.

The drive of the cab got a one-week suspension of his license, but Hampton said that, even with proof they were overcharged, the company didn't help.

Now the couple has some of their money back as Yellow Cab refunded $125, after our story aired.
