Gov. Fallin Announces Various Appointments

Gov. Mary Fallin has announced appointments to various state boards and commissions.

The governor's office said Fallin has appointed Billy Sims of Mountain View; Loretta Turner of Broken Arrow and Shannon Ferrell of Stillwater to the Environmental Quality Board and Dr. Jenny Alexopulos of Tulsa to the State Board of Health.

Fallin also appointed Keith Fuchs of Elk City to the State Board of Veterinary Examiners; Patrick Cornell of Clinton to the Indigent Defense System Board; Gail Wood of Edmond to the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Board; Julie Cohen of Norman to the Quartz Mountain Arts and Conference Center and Nature Park Board of Trustees; and Bradley Krieger of Edmond to the State Banking Board.

Ronda Roush of Tulsa was appointed to the Tourism and Recreation Commission.

The appointments are pending state Senate confirmation.
