Tulsa Couple Held On 103 Counts Of Fraud-Related Crimes

According to police a Tulsa couple is being held on a combined 103 counts of stolen property.

Officials said they arrested Seth Wahnee after he admitted to stealing a wallet and using the credit card to make a $774 purchase at Lowe's and a $560 purchase at Staples.

Police say they found Wahnee while he was with his girlfriend who presented a stolen check in someone else's name. Reports say that Wahnee admitted they received the stolen check from a person who washed it.

After Wahnee was read his Miranda rights, reports say they searched his home and found stolen mail, which he admitted to taking.

Wahnee is being held on 51 counts fraud-related crimes.

Crystal Martinson, who was arrested for a similar crime on Jan. 22, was charged with 52 counts of fraud-related crimes.

The victims in the alleged crimes all appear to have come from Tulsa neighborhoods around 66th Street and Evanston, TPD said. Detectives are in the process of notifying victims.
