Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews are patching a hole in the Broken Arrow Expressway bridge over Lewis Avenue Tuesday.
ODOT says the outside westbound lane of the BA as well as the right lane of southbound Lewis are closed while the repairs are made. They expect the work to be finished by the evening rush hour.
In the meantime, ODOT says drivers should expect delays and be alert for crews on the bridge.
Transportation officials say the 46-year-old bridge over Lewis is classified as structurally deficient. They say a major repair project is planned for the bridge in two years.
