Owasso Mother Arrested After Police Break Up Party

An Owasso mother is arrested after police say they found several kids drunk and high at her home.

Melissa Watson, 35, faces multiple charges of child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Another Owasso mom alerted police to a party in the 100 block of North Main after checking up on her son who was at the residence and not answering his phone.

Officers say when they arrived at the house, homeowner Watson appeared to be drunk. A police report shows she told officers seven of the kids inside her home were not her children.

Police say the home smelled of marijuana and a homemade bong, open liquor bottles and beer cans were scattered throughout the home.

"Based on our interactions with these individuals it was determined all were intoxicated," the arresting officer said in his report.
