A freezing rain advisory is in effect for several northeastern Oklahoma counties until 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The advisory includes Creek, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution on roadways, especially on bridges, which are expected to be glazed with ice until mid-Sunday morning.

Temperatures in the Tulsa metro-area are forecast to be in the 30s on Sunday, with a low of 21. On Monday, there's a possibility snow could make its return. The U.S. Highway 412 corridor shows potential for the most snowfall. We will update this story on Sunday morning with more on a timeline and accumulation estimates.

A freezing fog advisory also is in effect for Hughes and Payne County overnight and is expected to affect visibility across sections of northeastern Oklahoma.

A winter storm watch is in effect for a large section of Arkansas.
