Tulsa police are searching for a person who attempted to break into an ATM at a south Tulsa bank.

The incident happened on January 10 at 5:43 a.m. at an ATM owned by ONB located at 9004 E. 61st Street.

The person spray-painted the ATM's camera to conceal his or her identity and used a cutting torch to try to get inside the machine, according to officers.

Surveillance cameras in the parking lot showed the person was wearing a helmet and a mask over his or her face.

When efforts failed, the person drove away in a late 1960s or early '70s, red Chevrolet flatbed truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES.
