A grass fire burned just outside Mannford Monday evening. Pilot Will Kavanagh flew over the wildfire in Osage Skynews6 just after 5 p.m.

The fire is at Highway 51 near South 265th West Avenue.

Crews with the Keystone Volunteer Fire Department say the main part of the fire has been extinguished at 5:40 p.m., but they are making sure no ashes can re-ignite the fire overnight.

The grass fire appeared to start near the highway and moved toward the treeline. Houses on the south side of the treeline were threatened, Kavanagh said earlier in the evening.
