The Tulsa Fire Department was called to a fire along the river trails in west Tulsa early Monday.
When firefighters arrived they found brush and several trees on fire at around 2 a.m. About a quarter mile area near 41st and Elwood had burned, but firefighters were able to get the fire under control rather quickly.
"With the dry conditions, the grass fires are kind of getting to be a problem and the wind that came in tonight kind of added to it," said Captain Rick Blevins, Tulsa Fire Department.
Fire officials said no one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
