Tulsa Judge Sets First-Degree Murder Trial Date For Joshua Mooney

A judge set a trial date for a Jenks teenager charged with first-degree murder. 

During a hearing Thursday, Judge William Musseman set May 5, 2014 as the start of Joshua Mooney's trial. 

Prosecutors say Mooney shot and killed a woman during Jenks burglary in December 2012.

Earlier this month, an appeals judge found no grounds to reverse a decision that allowed Mooney to be tried as an adult.

Mary Escue was shot and killed in her parent's Jenks home.
