Tulsa philanthropist and businessman Henry Zarrow was laid to rest Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Funeral services were held at noon at the B'nai Emuah synagogue in Tulsa.
Zarrow died Saturday at the age of 97. He was a life-long Tulsan - well known for his incredible generosity.
"Mr. Henry," as he was affectionately known - once said his wife Anne was his greatest influence in helping those less fortunate.
The foundation that bears the Zarrows' name gives millions of dollars to numerous causes in Oklahoma - including education and other children's issues, homelessness and poverty.
Zarrow began working in his parents' grocery store at age 6 and eventually established an international oil business. He and wife Anne had two children, Stuart and Judy.
