Case Dismissed For Two Accused In The Murder Of Tulsa Man

After being charged with murder, two men had their case dismissed at the request of the state on Monday.

Judge Cliff Smith granted the state's request to dismiss the case of Jeremy Carr and Shelvon Williams in the murder of Shawn Banks.

Banks was found shot to death outside of Tulsa's Town Square Apartments in December, 2012 and charges were filed against Carr and Williams in October, 2013.

No reason for the dismal has been released at this time.
