According to court records, a Grove couple is scheduled to enter a plea on embezzlement charges next month in Delaware County court.
Stephen and Pamela Stultz were arrested in August 2013 following an investigation by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators began looking into the case after getting several complaints about a possible "rent to now scam" involving the couple in January 2013. Victims reportedly gave the Stultz's money under contract to purchase a cabin shell near Grove which the couple would then furnish. Investigators said 12 victims told deputies they lost between $2,200 to $24,000 in the alleged scam.
