Three men held a Tulsa family at gunpoint as the family pulled their car into their driveway on New Year's Day, police said.

According to Tulsa police, three armed men approached the vehicle in the 1300 block of north Atlanta about 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

The men demanded a wallet and purse and then stole the victims' 1995 white Honda Odyssey.

The thieves are described as two black males and a white male, but no other description has been provided. The black males were brandishing handguns and the white male had some sort of wooden weapon, like a baseball bat or long heavy stick, police said.

Police have not located the robbers or the vehicle yet.

TPD has not yet been able to connect this incident with any of the other random armed robberies from the past month.

The investigation is continuing.
