Get Lesson In Oklahoma Pecan Harvesting

Pecans are in so many dishes and desserts this time of year.

They grow naturally in orchards all over Green Country.

The Flying "G" orchard is just off of Route 66, between Catoosa and Verdigris and their shop is on highway 51 in Sand Springs.

Photojournalist Ty Lewis went to the orchard in Rogers County for a lesson in pecan harvesting, which you can see in the video above.
