Wagoner County Sheriff's Deputies Investigate Accidental Shooting

Wagoner County Sheriff's deputies say a woman was accidentally shot inside a home in the Rocky Point area Tuesday afternoon.

Sheriff's Office Major Gary Handley says deputies were sent to the home in the 31300 block of East 683 Road at about 1 p.m.

He says after conducting interviews, deputies determined the unidentified victim had been shot once and was taken to a Wagoner hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was then moved to a Tulsa hospital.

Handley says the investigation into the shooting is still going on.
